Which flex investment
Good afternoon. I have been debating for the passed 2 weeks on whether to get the flex pe14 or the flex 3403. I have a default buffer and a porter cable but of course I want more. Unfortunately the $2300 steamer just purchased is only allowing me to get one of the other. I use machines more for boats that cars. But I'd hate to just put the rotary down after this season is over. I guess I'm just curious as if I could get the same result on gel coat with the 3403 as a rotary. Really just hoping you could help make this purchasing decision so I can know I made the right one. Thanks so much.

Re: Which flex investment
Wouldn't allow me to attach both pictures at once.
Thanks again in advance! |

Re: Which flex investment
FLEX PE14-2-150, and here's why...
It's smoother, quieter, and runs cooler (critical when buffing out large boats that take several hours). Little things, like its superb ergonomics, also make a huge difference when polishing a boat. The better the machine feels in your hand, the less fatigue you'll experience at the end of the day. The PE14-2-150 also goes as low as 600 RPM (400 at the trigger), making it easier to control while buffing out small, intricate areas that don't require a higher speed. We always have some type of promotion floating around. When you're ready to order, call the number in my signature and ask for NICK - I'll set you up with a nice package. |

Re: Which flex investment
I agree with Nick,
If you already have a PC and a DeWALT then go with the Flex PE14 Be sure to get smaller pads like 6.5 to 7.5 for it instead of 8" and larger pads. This is a compact, lightweight rotary buffer, not a full size rotary buffer. Here's your boat pictures "inserted" instead of "attached. I uploaded them into your free gallery here on Marine31Online.com Nice work....

Thank you very much. Glad this forum exists as my marine clientele is dramatically increasing here on the Chesapeake in Maryland. Appreciate the help.
